Pediatric Dentistry is an age-specific specialist area that provides primary and comprehensive oral health care, as well as preventative and therapeutic oral health care, to children upto 14years age, including those with unique health care needs.
The department has worked hard to provide students with knowledge and clinical skills in the field of paediatric and preventive dentistry. The department is also equipped to handle all of the dental needs of children.
The department is located on 1st floor of the college building(Block B) with separate sections for undergradute and postgraduate clinical area. The department is well equipped with 20 dental chairs, full fledged clinical laborartory, computerized seminar room, departmentlibrary, sterilization section and patient waiting room.
The Post Graduate Programme started with two seats per year and has been increased to five seats for academics session 2022 onwards.

The department has 30 phantom heads for undergraduate pre clinical exercise.
The phantom head is use to practice on it in a cutting-edge Skill Lab that allows students to simulate real-time patient care while brushing up on their clinical skills and experiences.
The department uses advanced equipment that provides the best for our patients and student education.
Sterilization of instruments including Diagnostics & other instruments is carried out twice daily morning 9 am & afternoon 1 pm, and a record of it is maintained day-to-day
Sterilization equipment includes one fully automatic autoclave, one Normal autoclave, Ultrasonic cleaners, Glass Bead Sterilizer & Handpiece sterilizer.
A fully equipped clinical laboratory consisting of modern equipment, viz: Burn out Preheat furnace, wax elimination furnace, lab micro motor metal grinders, sand blaster, lathe, and various other equipment.
All the experiment are done under the supervision of a highly qualified faculty of highly trained, experienced, and motivated faculty members who are passionate about providing students with the best possible education and shaping them into good professionals..
